Campfire Cymru is a social enterprise which aims to break down barriers to participation. Any profits we make are directed into our forest school programmes and wellbeing services for families, children and young people.
Forest School is an inspirational process, offering children and young people opportunities to achieve - developing confidence and self-esteem - through hands-on learning experiences in a local woodland environment. Our courses and programmes are guided by the Forest School principles and have a trauma informed ethos.
Campfire Cymru provides outdoor education, including forest school and forest school leader training. As a social enterprise, we are a sustainable and flexible organisation. We follow our principles of caring for the environment and helping people who need support while operating a successful Forest School & Outdoor Learning training business.
Our flagship Forest School project, Forest Families, is a long term, regular forest school group for families with disabilities, additional needs, neurodivergency or anxiety and runs in Wrexham, Denbighshire and Flintshire. Forest Families has been running since 2013.
Our Forest School & Outdoor Learning Training Programme, Campfire Training, offers a range of high quality, accredited Forest School, Wellbeing in Nature, Outdoor Play & Outdoor Learning courses as well as CPD courses such as First Aid for Forest School.
